I just have a question: how did you manage to do that sky in photoshop without ruining the draw? - I hope you understand what I mean - Natalie Adams replies: "yeah, just how i felt at the time!!
well, the sky was just a ’simple’ gradient done in photoshop - i used a separate layer, turned it to ’multiply’. then, on the picture layer (background) i selected the sky (this was made easier since the lines were complete, and the selection didn’t ’bleed’ into the pic!) - then, on the ’multiply’ layer, i filled in the selection with the gradient. Multiplying the layer meant that the colour went in under the lines, so no detail was lost - that is how i do most of my photoshop-coloured pics, so that the detail in the original scanned sketches aren’t lost!#hope that makes everything clear!
